During his professional career spanning over 27 years, Mr. Akbar Patil has worked in different type of Industries having versetile experience in Maintenance / Project Engineering in Petrochemical, Gas Based Fertilizer/Chemical sector.

He has worked in M/s Chemanol (Methanol Chemicals Company), Al-Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Senior Instrument Specialist (Instrumentation)/ Section Manager ( Instrumentation).

Independently handled the erection & commissioning of 60,000 MTPA DMF (Di-Methyl Form amide plant, 50,000 MTPA MA (Methyl Amines plant). Technology for these plants is supplied by M/s Davy Power Gas, UK. Also looked after the erection & commissioning activity of CO (Carbon Monoxide) plant supplied by M/s Air Liquide, France.
Team leader for instrumentation erection & commissioning of DMF ship loading facility at KFIP ( King Fahd Industrial Port), Al-Jubail.

He has worked in Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizer, Thal project in India. Worked in maintenance team of Ammonia (3000 MTPD capacity), Urea plant (6000 MTPD capacity). Bagging plant for Urea Fertilizer (6000 MTPD capacity), Amines plant, Heavy water plant & Instrumentation workshop.

For one & half year worked in IBN-ZAHR (Saudi European Petrochemical Company – SABIC) company. In first tenure worked as turnaround planner. Carried out turnaround planning activity successfully for MTBE & Polypropylene plants turnarounds. Also worked there as Security System Project Engineer for Electrical & Instrumentation..
